Ups and downs. This morning, mostly up. Irene weakened overnight (though she may re-intensify) and her forecast track shifted east, taking my parents' house, Oriental and Wild Haggis out of the crosshairs. All will still be close enough to the center to get a severe beating with max. winds still above 115 mph, but at least all will be away from the northeast quadrant. Even better, our friends at anchor in South River will be away from the northeast quadrant.
